Bill was the former President and CEO of The Broward Health Foundation. The foundation is the developmental arm of Broward Health, the safety net county hospital system which is headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The Broward Health Foundation is the tenth-largest hospital system in the country. Broward Health is a $2 Billion-dollar medical conglomerate of many county-based clinics and the fourth-largest multi-disciplinary hospital. Bill managed a multimillion-dollar portfolio that he was responsible for growing to ensure that the hospital met its financial obligations to its millions of Broward County citizens. He managed the expansive nonprofit initiatives that include capital giving campaigns and events, in-hospital employee recognition programs, naming rights for real property owned by the hospital and all employee-focused grant programs. He was the president of the Mourning Family Foundation, a group of nonprofit companies that are owned by Alonzo and Tracy Mourning. Bill was responsible for three different business ventures under this umbrella fiscal, developmental and administrative. He served as the Chief Executive Officer for The Miami Dade Chamber of Commerce, Florida's oldest Chamber of Commerce with a primary mission in the growth and retention of minority businesses. Bill managed the day-to-day operations including financial, programming and development. He is the founding President of the Beta Psi 1923 Foundation at Clark Atlanta University (CAU) one of the first focused nonprofits of its kind. The foundations' goal is to provide financial assistance to CAU students. Since its inception over $100,000 has been awarded to students attending CAU. Bill was president and a founding member of the 100 Black Men of South Florida, Inc. He founded The Young Professionals Network of Miami their main goal is mentoring, recruitment, and retention of young black professionals in the South Florida area. He is a board member of The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, The Black Hospitality Initiative, South Florida Workforce and The Children's Trust. He is currently a Board Chairman for KIPP Schools in Miami.
