Carol Gardner David

Carol Gardner David is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in multiple states with nearly three decades of experience. In 2002, she became president of TEDc (Tacolcy Economic Development Corporation) and its wholly-owned subsidiary for property management, TPMC (Tacolcy Property Management Corporation).
Recruited from a position as Senior Auditor with Watson Rice, LLP, she joined TEDc in 1995 as Chief Financial Officer, with principal responsibility for accounting, banking, and investments for both TEDc’s residential and commercial development portfolio and for its property management division, TPMC.
With proven knowledge and experience in project structuring, joint venture financing, and economic development, Carol has led TEDc in the development of over $400M in new affordable housing in Miami and now the Company has been tapped for development in other locales in Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas.
She has served the City of Miami through her work on the Seventh Avenue Corridor Initiative, as a board member of Miami-Dade County’s Affordable Housing Advisory Board, and as a member of the City of Miami’s audit advisory committee. Carol has also served successive terms as president of the Greater Miami Chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants, Inc.
