BiographyDr. Seth Crapp is a double board-certified diagnostic radiologist with a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in pediatric imaging, a medical consultant and serial entrepreneur. He graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry, & attended Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. After obtaining his medical degree, he completed an internship at Mount Auburn Hospital a Harvard Medical School affiliate, and a residency at the University of Florida Shands Hospital in Jacksonville, FL where he was Chief Resident in diagnostic radiology. He completed a fellowship in pediatric radiology at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Crapp has served in leadership roles on several non-profit boards and community organizations including Knots4Kids, Inc in Jacksonville, Fl & the Artists Showcase of the Palm Beaches as a board member. He is currently vice-president of the Florida State Medical Association, the state-level organization of the National Medical Association. He is a life member of the FIU Alumni association as well as Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., and was previously Director of Health Awareness for the Florida Federation of Alpha Chapters. He has served on committees of the Society for Pediatric Radiology & the American College of Radiology. He has been published in peer-reviewed journals, & recently co-authored a children’s book titled “Learning About X-rays with Lula and Ethan”. Dr. Crapp is a 2017 Florida International University Torch Award recipient, an honor given to distinguished alumni. He is co-creator of Viewbox, a first of its kind mobile app for medical image viewing and education, and a peer-reviewed author and lecturer, with special interests in artificial intelligence applications in medicine and healthcare. Dr. Crapp is a current panel member at the American College of Radiology Data Science Institute (ACR DSI) which focuses on artificial intelligence development and meaningful use initiatives in the radiology and broader medical sectors. He has a Certification in Block-chain Technology business applications through MIT Sloan School of Management. He is currently employed by Pediatric Specialists of America and is an attending radiologist at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami, FL.
