BiographyRuban Roberts has dedicated his professional career to the advocacy of mental health and wellness, focusing on serving marginalized communities. With over 18 years of experience as a clinician and Master Trainer at the University of Miami's Brief Strategic Family Therapy Institute (BSFT®), he is a seasoned expert in this field. In 2013, Ruban founded RER Consulting Enterprise LLC, and later, in 2021, he established Amplify Community Resources. Both organizations are passionately committed to addressing the mental health and wellness challenges faced by underserved populations. Ruban Roberts is also highly skilled in research design and the development of evidence-based programs, which he utilizes to support communities in need. Mr. Roberts's commitment to underserved communities has driven his professional and personal pursuits, leading to over 25 years of devoted service to advocacy and community causes. This passion is evident in his leadership roles in numerous organizations, including his role as the immediate past President of the Miami-Dade Branch of the NAACP. He has also offered his expertise to various boards and workgroups, including appointments by governmental bodies such as the Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners and Florida's former Governor Rick Scott. Over the years, Mr. Roberts has been a fervent advocate for addressing mental health disparities. He has been associated with initiatives sponsored by notable organizations like the Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). Further, his dedication to health equity and addiction services reflects his broader commitment to wellness. Educationally, Mr. Roberts refined his expertise at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida, securing both a Master’s in Social Work and Business Administration. On a personal note, he takes great pride in being a devoted husband, a nurturing father, and an enthusiastic traveler, continually seeking to broaden his horizons.
