BiographyWith a passion for public service, and the ability to motivate and mobilize people to action, Vincent Evans is a skilled Capitol Hill professional and veteran campaign operative who comes with a decade of experience in political strategy and engagement -- most recently working on one of the most competitive and high-profile gubernatorial campaigns in the country.
Vincent is currently the Southern Political Director for Vice President Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign. Recently, he served as special assistant and senior advisor to U.S. Representative Al Lawson of Florida’s 5th Congressional District.
In this role, Evans provided advice and counsel on various policy matters with specific emphasis on state & local and agriculture issues. He successfully served as a spokesman for the Congressman, while working on major in-district initiatives, field hearings, and brain trust forums. During his time on Capitol Hill, Vincent traveled extensively across the 5th Congressional District and the state of Florida executing community outreach events and participating in fact-finding trips as part of congressional staff delegations.
Previously, Evans was the chief aide to Tallahassee City Commissioner Curtis Richardson. He also served as a legislative analyst for the Florida Senate Minority Office and for a cabinet-level state agency in Florida.
