BiographyYinka Majekodunmi, CPA, is the Miami-Dade County Commission Auditor and the Founder of YM Worldwide. He is a financial executive with experience in private and government organizations, specializing in financial management, business strategy, Information Technology, and audits. As the Founder of YM Worldwide, Yinka has worked with many entrepreneurs, startups, and businesses as an advisor, mentor, and CFO, focusing on business development, financial strategy and management, financial due diligence, and organization design. He is passionate about his role as a community builder through financial literacy and has reached many people as an avid speaker. In 2019, Yinka was appointed as the Miami-Dade County Commission Auditor, reporting to the Board of County Commissioners on the operations of the County government and making findings as to whether the Board's fiscal and legislative policies are efficiently and effectively implemented. He was also the former Director of Finance and Administration for the County's Information Technology Department, where he led the redesign of the IT service pricing model, recapitalization strategy of IT infrastructure, IT consolidation, and the development of applications to streamline and automate back-office functions. Yinka holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license with a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Florida International University (FIU) and a Master's in Accounting degree from Nova Southeastern University. He has attained expertise in Angel Investing from the Angel Capital Association and Organizational Leadership from the Leadership Institute at the University of Miami.
