It's Bigger Than UsTyrone Nance is a community infrastructure builder and network strategist focused on bridging the gap between institutional access and community trust. A born-and-raised Angeleno, Tyrone works at the intersection of strategic communication and systems change—believing that lasting community resilience comes from activating relationships across sectors, not creating new silos. As Founder and CEO of It's Bigger Than Us (IBTU), a national 501(c)(3) launched in Los Angeles in 2020 and now operating in Miami and beyond, Tyrone has mobilized 300+ institutional and community partners to coordinate 500+ community events. His work demonstrates how to build, activate, and compound relationships across institutional, corporate, and community sectors to create durable systems change. Tyrone serves as Chairman of Chamber in Action for the Venice Chamber of Commerce Board, sits on the USC South LA Pharmacy Advisory Board, and is a former Vice President of the Los Angeles Chapter of Black Professionals Network. He holds a B.A. in Public Relations from Oral Roberts University and an M.A. in Transformational Urban Leadership from Azusa Pacific University.
