Tarsha Jacobs is the owner of Tarsha R. Jacobs, CPA, PLLC. After working for local CPA firms in Central Florida for 15 years, she began her own practice in 2013. Tarsha Jacobs, CPA has over 25 years of experience in accounting and has provided services for clients in a range of industries including charter schools, construction, healthcare, manufacturing, not-for-profit, professional services, and retail.
Tarsha is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, where she has served on numerous committees including, Audit, Chapter Operations, Accounting Careers (past-chair), Women’s Leadership (past-chair), and Management of an Accounting Practice. Tarsha has served on the Board of Directors for four years and the Council for six years, including four years as the Regional Representative for Region 4. She is the Past-President of the Central Florida Chapter. She is also a proud member of the Greater Orlando Chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants.
Tarsha lives in Orlando with her husband of 27 years, Michael Jacobs, and has two amazing sons, Cameron and Michael Jr. Tarsha is an avid runner, triathlete, and Yoga Instructor. She volunteers her time in the women’s ministry at her church, helping to feed families at the Ronald McDonald House and Coalition for the Homeless centers in Central Florida, assisting with fundraising for the Women’s Residential and Counseling Center, and serving as a mentor to teenagers and young CPAs.
