Vania joined Merrill Lynch in 1988, spending more than two decades as Compliance, Risk and Business Manager prior to becoming a Resident Director in 2006 and most recently promoted to her current position at the parent company, Bank of America.

A graduate from Florida International University with a double major in Finance and International Business, Vania’s various leadership assignments have taken her to Spokane, Wa., along with numerous locations in Florida, of which 11 years were spent in Sarasota, Fl., prior to relocating to North Miami in 2009.

In her prior role as Senior Resident Director of Merrill Lynch’s Aventura office, Vania led a team of Domestic and International Financial Advisors and Client Associates providing wealth management guidance along with the firm’s complete offering to help clients navigate their financial lives.

In her current role as Market Executive, Vania leads and executes the firm’s broad strategic vision and philanthropic engagement in the Miami market across all lines of businesses.

A believer of giving back, Vania is passionate about mentoring young individuals both professionally and personally as they grow to become impactful members of their communities. This passion is translated through her engagement in supporting the local community in a variety of activities. Vania is also broadly engaged in various efforts around Diversity and Inclusion within both the organization and across the community at large. An avid supporter of the arts, Vania is committed to supporting emerging artists showcase their talent and art through various opportunities.
