Williams Consulting / Venture for T.H.E.M.Clarevonte "Clay" Williams is an investment and entrepreneurship ecosystem professional with over a decade of experience across venture capital, finance, public policy, and founder support. He currently works as an Investment Associate, supporting investment analysis, portfolio strategy, and capital deployment while partnering closely with founders, investors, and institutional stakeholders. Clay is the Founder and Principal of C. Williams Consulting, where he advises entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and public-sector organizations on business strategy, fundraising readiness, project management, and ecosystem development. He is also the Co-Founder of Venture for T.H.E.M., a venture accelerator and investment platform focused on supporting underrepresented founders through capital access, education, and strategic network building. His professional background includes experience in venture capital, impact investing, and finance, with roles at organizations such as the National Football League, Accion Venture Lab, Squadra Ventures, and Halcyon House's impact fund. Earlier in his career, Clay worked in government affairs and public policy, including positions in the U.S. House of Representatives, the Maryland General Assembly, and the White House. Clay is a proud graduate of Morgan State University and Bowie State University, and earned his MBA from the University of Maryland.
