Starboard Cruise Services an LVMH Company (Louis Vuiton Moet Hennessy)Jeremy Jones is a native of South Florida. Jones completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida. He joined Starboard Cruise Services an LVMH Company (Louis Vuiton Moet Hennessy) in August 2018 as a Human Resources Business Partner-Manager. He has been recognized as leading employee relations and talent management strategist with extensive experience in minimizing risk and employee retention for international markets. Previous to his appointment as Starboard’s HR Manager, Mr. Jones served as HR Business Partner at Mount Sinai Medical Center. There he was responsible for directing the company’s employee engagement strategy and implementing it hospital wide, serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and executives. Previously, Jones spent several years managing the talent life cycle of the southeast region of Dollar General, provided counsel to stakeholders regarding personnel practices, policy, and employment laws. In 2020, Jones was a founding member and served as Co-President of Starboards multicultural Employee Resource Group Humans United for Equality and Service (HUES). He played an intricate part in revamping the companies talent acquisitions process to promote a more diverse talent pool. Due to his success with HUES, Jones currently serves as Co-President for LVMH Employees of African Decent (LEAD) Employee Resource where he supports the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy for Louis Vuiton Moet Hennessy. He’s responsible for planning, budgeting and executing cultural events for North America. In 2021, he was selected by LVMH as an emerging leader to partake in McKinsey & Company six-month Management Accelerator Program where he earned certifications in A2E Business Fundamentals, Business Strategy and Problem Solving. Jones will be honored with the UF Alumni Association: Inclusive Leadership Award in 2024.
